Its Like That Story I Used To Tell Olga About Potatoes

After the first time she knew there were never really any potatoes but she would go along nicely with me because she enjoyed hearing stories about them.
Roxy eventually suffered emotional death in the foster care system. Being unable to hear nothing woke her from it so she could start roaming around as a sociopath as so many do until my nephew heard people talking about buying her for parts. Bribes are pretty common in the foster care system and my nephew isn't hurting for cash. He obtained the opportunity to spend time with her under the usual but unstated assumptions and almost felt that he had tried everything he could to wake her up when he finally thought to tell her she could wake up and be a girl and that got her attention.
In the foster care system, even if boys and girls are abused the same, girls tend to find homes a lot easier and all associated trips to the ice cream parlor or the beach.
Eventually though not officially he was able to set up an arrangement where by he would pick her up for church which consisted of the retreatism deal.
The person who had been brought up in the fostercare system around here really did die though Roxy kept her ghost around to help develop characters, and while the person in the red dress most people have seen doesn't define her full persona, Roxy identifies more with her than she does with that kid.
