Snakes

I'm looking at the Altai Band video where they are dancing with the shamans. Azrael mentioned the fringe collar outfit to me in Key West, and I saw a good idea for a belt because local conditions really require a belt, with banners on it of various kinds. I need more snakes on my outfit (fringe collar). I don't have the material for that right now but I am going to work on adding more screening fringe to my headband and maybe do more work on that to make it  more of a hat over the next few days. He told me winter time is the time to do things like this, I have plenty to smoke and tea to drink though it was pointed out at two teaspoons of comfrey a day I don't have enough to get to spring yet. It shrinks a lot in drying.
I wasn't sure about the eyes or not, but people have engaged with me through them already pretty easily. I've changed the painting on my drum, I have a lodge and door pattern on it, Azrael mentioned the lodge, and about a symbol of connecting things. I think of the red and blue lodges as physical and shadow world and the doors as portals and all that portals portend. I have three sets of three double arrows in red and blue also, the double arrow is the symbol of an arrow being split by another arrow, and three is the three times, past present and future.
I still have a lot more work to do, but its a holistic thing encompassing many other types of activities. I was just thinking about the yak or sheeps wool that is most commonly being used by the shamans in this video for their snakes, and that I have an amount of fisherman's wool already and can get more of that, acrylic wouldn't have the right look or hand to it, and fisherman's wool felts very easily. Its possible I could braid the ropes and felt them in my washing machine. I'm wearing fisherman's wool on my feet right now, its ok for socks but doesn't last as long as actual sock yarn or superwash yarn that doesnt felt. I have enough of this at home now to test some felting and see if I want to invest in quite a few skeins of this or not, next month. I bought a $106 with tax gotham steel ti cerama cook set yesterday, money very well spent, but now I'm not rich again.
