My maternal grandmother was the orphaned end of an attempt to rebuild a royal line to reclaim control of the arab controled areas. She was put in the hands of the catholics when her family's plot failed and came to be raised in a noble family in Sicily. The Catholic church became suspicious of the family she was placed with however when they kept the girl secluded and would not allow her to be exposed to people who would tell here downsyndrom is a defect and her way of thinking is flawed. He was asked to make the lock for the door of the woman who had once lived in Sicily. Curious about the need to treat her differently from the other women at the brothel he began to investigate. He then started to look into the heratiges of all the women in the brothel who were not being bred for infants to sell, which was more lucrative in muslim countries than the sex act itself. Why were these people willing to operate at a loss to keep these women apart? he asked himself. Upon further discovery he began to arrange the breeding of these women as well. In time through both his activities he was able to breed one line back to the other or my father who was the descendant of his endeavours with the other women and my mother who was his daughter.
