I've never been white, but I didnt grow up like most black people. I spent several formative years of my life believing that if I persisted in doing the right things I could have success. Then I became an adult and realized gradually that people were never going to stop treating me like the retarded stepchild whenever I went about ordinary business. I grew up, but the people around me continued to be brats. Basically I realized that to whites, morality is just "something we teach the niggers".
Barak Obama had a white mother and grew up in Hawaii. I suspect he went through the same fundamental mental transformation that I have been going through just as soon as he set foot in the south side of Chigago and began dealing with the housing issues there.
