Realestate

The realestate crisis arose because people who were getting no protection from violation from their landlord didnt want their children to become failed educational statistics and took risky high intrests loans for well over what they thought was safe to borrow.
If landlords had upheld their end of contracts and tenant protection laws people would not have felt they needed to borrow so much.
Now banks are stuck with millions of properties they cant sell and millions of failed debts.
If people got letigious about landlord abuse, there would be a substancial redistribution of wealth that would cause an increased demand for owned housing.
Document you landlord. Hold him to the law. And if he fails to obey the law and uphold your lease, take him for what you can get, because if you dont he will tell other landlords not to rent to you anyway and you will be stuck in this abuse and stalking spiral forever.
