I am the only person in the US with an advanced degree in a linguistics related field who has the ability to tell the followint story.
There has not been any new nuclear development in the US since 1979 when 29 years ago two days ago a leak was reported from the 3 Mile Island Nuclear Facilty.
Upon investigation, the responsible inspector came forward to present encyclopedias about the daily activities of the sole black man working at the plant. He had nothing to do with the leak, in fact the man who was responsible for it was not being supervised at all since he worked on the same shift as the black man.
This problem in the US workforce to this date has not been addressed and has not been resolved.
