Yesterday I went to look at a different apartment. It has a real bedroom and is about $100 less than what I have been paying but I have to pay utilities, which wont be $100 a month. I gave the realator 5 months of bank statements showing direct deposits of income, a detailed explanation about my credit problems and my landlord's billing problems and bank statements showing every payment I have made to my current landlord with explanations of all odd stuff since I moved in in May of 2004. I also gave them my security deposit and a $25 application fee.
I took a meandering path to what I hope was a new apartment for me, and I was followed all over town. At the end they even sent out a helecopter when they lost me somewhere on Madison.
