"Her Grades Are Very High"

I said before I met with Gerald Olson four times. The first time I met with him in his office I asked him if he had been on the Bloomington police force, because I recognized him from the day he came to my off campus address asking me to clarify information I had sent to the bloomington police regarding threats made to me in which I was told I could "end up like Jill" if I didnt let people wake me at night an interfere with me. He said he had never been employed with the police and said he had worked for IU in this same position for many years. I said then where do I know you from and he said that it would come back to me.
By the fourth time I met with him I knew that he was deciding my guilt before he called me to his office. I still was waiting for full evidence however that he was activly blaming me for things he knew I had no involvment in and did not have evidence that he was telling people to provoke me. I proceeded under the decided presumption that he was very bad at his job and that he didnt know his ass from a hole in the ground but that he wasnt fully corrupted. Atleast until Sally Jones, who was supposed to be my support against the charges but was backing Gerry up in ever way, metioned that my grades were very high in a tone and demeanor, acompanied by a knowing look from Gerry that showed me that they inteded to acuse me of cheating if I did not leave the school.
After this point I decided to do whatever I had to to finish the degree I started, but in the last semster my home was broken into and my hard drive stolen the day before a rough draft of my last term paper was due. I was skipping class to write it but had been agitated continuously so that I felt blocked. While waiting for my ability to write beautiful A worthy termpapers to return I had done all my research and highlighted the quotes I wanted to use and made notes on the points I wanted to make, I just had to compile it all in termpaper format befor 10;30am the next day. I went to relax in the tub hoping that would stimulate my writing and when I came back my hard drive was gone. NOt knowing what was wrong with my computer I took it to Best Buy but on the way was hit by a car that had been sitting at the intersection for several minutes as I approached and did not pull out until I tried to pass, causeing me to ride on the hood for a few feet.
I managed to write that paper before morning minus annotations and footnotes but I think it was about 8 pages at that point rather than the 10 required (just adding the footnotes in a few weeks later brought it in that form up to 9.5 and a added some more supports and turned it in on time).
Nobody told me my hard drive was missing, I overheard them and saw their behavior. I had already called the police to report the home invasion but they said it was only a virus. So I didnt see any point to calling htem again, especially when the tech gave me a discarded hard drive from another computer instead of the one that wasnt there. I felt that "everybody was in on it" and calling the police would only make things worse.
My leg hurt from the car accident for the rest of the time it took me to finish my degree. But I made it through only to hear a rumor that they were planning to take my degrees away from me for cheating. I heard other rumors that they wanted to take my degrees away because of my speach inconcistancies, dispite the fact that I had high grades and did all the work asked of me and in all the time I was studying I did not have any late work though one paper was given back to me to be revised which I handed back in again for an A.
