My husband is able to operate at a high level and ballance many different things on mostly original organs and little need for spares because there is a well developed culture based on individuals in the past who realized that they had ways and things they could do that would allow them to keep their own organs longer, if they were willing to do those things to preserve the organs of their superiors.
I dont have that, but I suspect that the only reason I was able to find a way out of the homeless shelter was because as I suffered injuries I was healed immediately but people in higher positions, harder to replace under current conditions were getting very ill and the pattern became obvious. Right now they are claiming this is the best they can do for me, and that though they could have read the evidence to grant me a larger stipend as easily as they read it for a small one (they said they were worried I might pick up "grifters") had they given me the larger check, I probably wouldnt have come to this environment or not in such a way as to require so much surgical support.
