Gramps was hanging out in Tibet because he had convinced people to keep the kids of the fitra and let other people raise the other children. This meant the place had a low population, and so the kids that were kept were used to make the place look full by sending them out to fill up the grassy meadows with as many yaks as they each could manage. Nothing other than that was done with most of the yaks, they just took up space and made people passing through feel like there was no space to settle in. But over time people kept more and more non fitra children and gramps eventually felt they didnt need him there, they werent doing what he was into.
After Mom and Dad left, their stories took on lives of their own. When they started to spread around the world they returned and took on their fictitional personas. People found this out about them on many different levels, and they reacted many different ways.
