By this time in the evening, several people have already been convinced by people who knew better that cooking food is not ok and I meant that I would kick people out for cooking food. Those people are now on a special list.
The real meaning is no one is allowed to cook anything with toxic fumes using the kitchens provided for the cooking of food. This doesn't mean that people cant boil dye pots or make tea either, medicinal or culinary, it means that we dont want things like but not limited to meth, rush or gun powder being made using facilities designated as personal housing. I am personally fond of a good fireworks show, but no you cant make them here, you need to rent or purchase a designated facility where you can warn everyone who enters of the dangers and where no one is sitting around watching tv when you happen to mix things wrong and blow up.
But even cooking dinner has its limits. We hope that you will take garbage out, wash dishes, and try to limit your smell, that you wont cook food based concoctions just to annoy other people, especially at regularly understood to be sleeping hours.
There are exceptions. People who know they are slobs should seek a slob apartment, preferably one where no owners or relatives of owners are dwelling. We own a ton of shit holes already, no need to make more.
But also, there are opportunities for people who have screwed up, who we will not rent to on their own again who can become part of supervised groups who are allowed to dwell in some of the places we own. These groups have additional limitations that are not part of the lease agreement but are related to their supervisor's intentions regarding his interest in them.
