Its the practice in the US media not to "empower the devil" by attributing blame for causes of troubles upon the actual countries that orchestrated them. Instead we are supposed to dislike China because they are slanty eyed or yellow or something, not because they have put a stranglehold on our economy. Of course some media controllers might be afraid there are too many here who wouldn't see that as a bad thing.
A list has been sent containing the names of all the people considered responsible for the resurrection and subsequent abuse of Empress Cixi and until that list has been depopulated in its entirety there will be no truly favorable adjustments of Chinese trade practices. I was sent here in a suitable state of mind for working in this environment at a reasonably conservative economic level so long as I was not asked questions above my pay grade reminding me of other greater capacities I had that I could not be compensated for as "the daughter of a whore" and a "grub like substance". But once those capacities were tapped, and expectations were raised a whole host of emotional attachments became completely inappropriate though they were merely the same emotional attachments to compensation for labor that I came here with. This led to the brewing of resentments, so thickly and darkly steeped that it is represented as the oil spill that is going to drive the price of Chinese goods up even further as americans still refuse to return to manufacturing jobs at the wages I have been offered here all my life. Granted without home ec and shop who can do these jobs anymore? Even food service is hurting.
America may not be "one of those countries" where "these things happen" but we are getting there. And a few controlled disasters now would help prevent an uncountable number of real unpredictable disasters later at the next stage of the path we are already on.
