Swapping Connections

Squiggly had a lot of reasons to be seriously angry with Mom, but when she decided to give up her connection to me and fortify my connection to Roxy it bought her a lot of credit. The thing about doing things over the hundreds of years that Squiggly had not wanted her to do was that some of that stuff started having its innate consequences around the time I was born. Mom knew she'd better do her best to cut me out of that. All people could take a lesson from this, because it is sometimes necessary to do things Squiggly told you not to do, but if you can recognize the opportunities you have to make sacrifices of rewards in order to correct the consequences that might effect him, you have a better chance of doing well in the end and he might even consider you qualified to do your own thing, though usually he will put you in a less responsible position and try to mitigate some of the sacrifices you decided to make.
While Roxy and I will have the same relationship no matter how many future lives we have, we are better off to try to hang on to this one as long as we can no matter how weird it gets.
