Those two cops in New York were exactly as I predicted when I heard about the shootings, colored converging with whites overcompensating hypersensitivity about race. Two white racist cops couldn't have been approached like that.
Evil is slippery and it makes use of every kind of marginalization so that people don't realize humans are being sacrificed to prove that other humans are evil enough for the next stage of the road to hell. We get a benefit if we try to keep our neighbors honest by every means we can, and if we pile up near the threshold to the gate to the path to hell, it will just mean that those who are really meant to go will put the effort in to jump higher, and many more who are just aimless and curious will see the path of least resistance leads them to better places and they have more time to mature before they get to the next crossroads or buffet table.
Anyway, racism is the dumbest reason to go to hell, but I'm afraid its probably going to be a common one.
