It takes all types to get through the world and even if there are some kinds that in my experience I really don't want to deal with at all, considering for example Gramps' accumulation of people, these people are useful in that they will go along with all kinds of poorly explained activities that allow people who can shift their public personas based on situation but follow the same code always to get close to people who actually interest them.
I'm not someone who says hell no a whole lot when people say they want to do something I think is odd, but that is normally because I know the whole thing is a discovery process and by the time anyone actually does anything its nothing like what was first put out there when the conversation began. Sometimes people don't know me that well and think I agree with all kinds of things and sometime people do actually do that thing, but they'd have done it anyway unless I tied them up or something and they would have complained if I did that.
But I have been out in this world awhile, and my first reaction to something or someone who is too good is to be pretty sure its an act. Though my action based on that is just to send them a message about the practices of Cthulhu, and my focus is clear enough to follow them through they hey what did I do wrong to hey how do I get this to keep happening and when I see that I hang around a little to make sure that they transition and are placed well, especially when they really are that good.
Anyway, Squiggly has a pretty large harem and for the most part he leaves us to our own social activities once we have fulfilled our responsibilities and been imprinted with the rules though some of us have one time commitments and others have more ongoing responsibilities.
*actually the habit of making girls of people who act a certain way and the tradition of saying "you asked for this" came from the time when it was more normal for people to be a certain way that is getting more rare in the world and it was originally oh a girl good I know what you need now have a happy life, and though its not taken like that normally these days, even if the real girls are one in a thousand or less, the ones who are behaving badly don't warrant a practice of their own anyway*
