There are lots of people speaking English on the internet, and they pretty much don't exist as far as I'm concerned no matter what they are talking about. I know Mongolia pretty well, and how badly you have to screw up to end up in a bad place, and you cant get there from the internet, though that is partly because they watch everyone on it in real time and sever their connection if they don't like what they are doing, and they restrict some activities in general most of the time, such as commenting directly on blogs of people not in Mongolia.
Its not just Communism, Mongolia is short on resources to maintain human life, and its hard to import them, and its one of those places where its part of the culture that most adults don't stay, but those who do are there for the purpose of managing the system where most adults don't stay which means that every action they take or thought they have is about their place in the system of those who are staying. Sometimes there are reasons to deal with the people who have settled outside of Mongolia, sometimes we are importing resources to them that they dont or can't maintain in the country whether products or view points or things like that, but either way that is also strictly monitored and a lot has to happen before that's allowed at all. Tourists are also shepherded closely whether they notice it or not and some types of interactions are just not available.
It helped that I started posting my genes on the internet 7 or 8 years ago, that they had time to figure me out a little bit before they may have gotten some pressure from Japan to let me chat with Fuji a little. But I also didn't just post genes but my thoughts and stuff too, and I was living under other kinds of scrutiny too.
I also watched the movie Black Rock yesterday afternoon about how western women act towards more traditional men, and my writing tends to acknowledge unlike a lot of american women do that women are responsible at least partly for what happens and while we can argue about what restrictions are necessary there is a point of no return in some games and if you try to back out in the middle after it gets to that point you may only make things a lot worse.
But I don't drink to begin with.
