Tinariwen was in Beijing and Hong Kong last week, I think even they thought that its odd to go there, but turn out to their concerts appears to be very good, and the Chinese are looking at Africa as a place to set down new roots for families that would rather invest in their own structure rather than the wider society. They are not the same as Europeans, and aren't looking to establish plantations but factories, especially for highly regulated chemicals related to plastics involving petroleum that aren't facing a long future in modernizing China due to the fact that chemicals tend to get misplaced and recipes can sometimes be fudged in reports. More people are getting more official support to want a cleaner environment and safe food. There was a case a few years back when someone used melamine, or plastic powder to fake out a protein test regarding their infant formula and sickened and killed a bunch of babies, they basically starved to death.
China gets in contact with the US when their own intel discovers that banned plastics are being shipped to the US and many containers have been rejected in US ports, when this happens people in China lose their freedom or their lives, and this is another reason families aren't seeing plastics as a good investment for their futures in China.
In Africa the ability to understand what is different in Africa is somewhat undermatured. The consequences of official corruption are hard to differentiate from every other day in Africa and this makes it impossible to talk to people about timely and consistent reporting of irregularity and trying harder to elect people who aren't so irregular. But if you put plastics factories and chemical factories in Africa the consequences of false documents and corruption will get visceral. Africa is divided into many different countries and tribes and cultures so many different solutions to these problems can arise, from people just showing up with guns and shutting that shit down Negan style, to people wanting to set up tribunals and so forth. But its a also a lot easier to reject a shipment in port from Africa than from China even without any kind of reporting coming from the sending country.
Anyway, I need to find places for Chinese to go and work for Africans, I wont let too many of either come here where we have our own fish to fry.
Speaking of those, we are working out women's employment and otherwise for the future. The topic of drudges came up because Dad showed me what Cthulhu would look like properly attired one time. There are tried and true methods for getting acceptable levels of work out of these women but only if they are all of the nature of crabs in a bucket. Just one higher life form among them can mess up the whole line and turn just a bunch of clicking crabs in the corner into some kind of multi organism threat to international stability. We are moving towards more options for gender segregated education and workplace design. The kind of women who can go out into the cold and spend the day sucking dicks, if we put pants on them they could go into sewers and unclog the works whenever the works gets clogged. The kind of women who are smart but not very focused or trustworthy, but not somehow aligned to become something useful like a psycho killer or something, they are easy to distract and need their soap operas and video games. They'd be good on food processing lines or mid to low tech manufacturing where they have no contact with the general public in the course of their work. We plan to house these in blocks of efficiency apartments, discourage marriage and real world sexual relationships and tie housing to the job provider in general. I say no contact with customers or clients because they have a tendency towards theft, extortion, carrying tales, petty acts of vandalism and if they aren't supervised directly or quality controlled consistently they just stop working. We are moving some Chinese to the US to manage this type of people and provide this kind of work already and developing people who have been here longer to expand on this level.
There will be a group of little to no gender differentiation that can do a lot of service jobs, such as fast food, retail kinds of work and working for household service agencies like house cleaners that come in a couple days a week in groups in both skirts and pants. These are the kind of working people who already get housing assistance from the government.
There are also women who just somehow manage to stay busy at home without causing any trouble. People take that last part without causing any trouble and try to say we are causing trouble because our existence is troubling their mind and making them act up, but most of these people would be in the drudge group. Talking more about the drudge group, a lot of them complain that if people weren't present they wouldn't be causing them mischief, some more eloquently than others, and that will add interest to their interdrudge socialization networks, but by linking housing to their jobs and generating a service niche to provide for their nutrition and entertainment we keep them contained in an area that they can get territorial about all they want to for the most part and it will quickly become clear to people in other groups that there's nothing in there that's going to be a good experience for them. And there's a type of people that enjoys drudge management, some of them are in the target range to make them useful.
About food and nutrition, my Grandfather wants people to get out of the habit of taking pills and we need to work out complete foods for the workforce. I mentioned that chewing has to be a daily experience though maybe not in the case of drudges, I just think its a part of being human so some of the meal replacement needs to be in bar form. The idea is to provide things that they'd rather spend their money on and make the meal replacements cheap or free to them. These things they'd rather spend money on also aren't necessarily things, but movies, video games, destinations and experiences. This isn't just for the drudges but in the child rearing groups there will be more physical things that need to be acquired and worked into the overall experience of learning to differentiate uses of objects.
This is one model or format for an urban community, there will be country communities also and a sizeable group of people who don't fit in with this kind of grouping, I think about that when I think about how ten percent of trust profits will be dropped in my lap every year and how another ten percent is already being dropped on charities, and about how if the government doesn't understand that they don't want to be responsible for another ten percent I'm not going to explain it to them and let them figure that out for themselves through experience. Anyway, sometimes I think about having jobs for all kinds of people related to the way I want to live, but I would only deal with the service company representative to my level of use of their services, and anything that I develop for my own household as I think of something I need will become a franchise. I think about things like I could afford my own five star chef but he or she would get surly and what would be better is some kind of gofer kind of service because the variety of tasks involved with that would keep a guy sane for a longer period of time, and it would likely be a stepping stone job, any job in my home would likely be, a way to get to know more unique people and think about different types of jobs that can be created. I'm not thinking of living in Downton Abbey though having my own private Yellowstone would be super cool (I'd have my own team of drone pilots on security and stuff).
