There is a big difference between British style racism and American style racism. In the US if you are subservient to whites and dont aspire you are accepted in your way. Of cource you have to prove you know your place by accepting miriad injuries without real complaint but also without seeming too noble or stoic and at any time your accepted status can be revoked without warning but people do want to have you around especially when they have toxic waste to clean up so they can use you like a rubber glove or they can point to you and say "see, we arent racists".
In British style racism no one sees a purpose in your existance and the only reason they havent renamed you "fill" is that biohazards leak.
