Tibet was never anything but a bend in the river. In river bends, mostly only garbage collects, but in a corrupt world, people have an interesting idea about what has value and what is really garbage.
The kind of garbage assembled in Tibet was that of the unwanted child variety. A defined set of mental and physical anomalies and a handful of indiscressions were brought up there never to return to the world of their parents and upset their umblemished existances.
Anyone who would fight for that is an idiot.
