My student loan debt in default is $88,000 approx. Living frugally as I am used to do, and earning the median income for people with master's degrees, I could have easilly payed that off in 5 years.
For nearly all english as a second language teaching jobs, education beyond a bachelor's degree is required, however the pay is often less than the median income for those who did not complete highschool. It is rediculous to expect such a high level of education and competance from people whose skills you do not value.
