First of all only Dad is "Slum lord" it didn't come out right before. Ok and so I told you all along that you'd be kicked out on the streets if you kept doing what you were doing. You all said "oh no, uh uh, if we obey these people they will always take care of us". No, what they have is a pseudosiddhi that causes weak willed people to believe what they are told. Other than that they showed you nothing but that if you aren't an abuser you will be one of the abused.
All we want from you is rent. If you aren't a troublemaker that rent will be low and episodes of homelessness will be minimal. But if you make up lies against your neighbors, harass them, abuse your living space, make false calls for repairs, or (and this is a really big one) don't pay your rent and you will suffer homelessness and increased burden of paying rent. Thats just a basic plain relationship based on clear concepts. Sometimes there might be opportunities for more interaction, and a different kind of relationship and when that is available you can fill out a real job application and even sign a legally binding contract.
Clear limits make good relationships, definitions benefit us in more ways than we can describe and we assume most people want to keep the relationships that they have without additions and subtractions.
As for me, I also pay rent and my other relationships are of a personal nature. I am also a member of a subset in this nation that have been declared unreliable in certain necessary aspects. While we do have our own methods of assessment on these matters, even if my Dad and Mom were the same as the people you are used to dealing with, I am of the group that is unable to renig and if I failed in my agreements with my family they would change my circumstances to make it easier for me to do what they expect from me, not make me wish I had accepted your offer to make me a whore. Though for those of you heavily invested in the former system, they don't have the power to enforce their threats either, though if you are weak willed they are beaming bad energy at you.
