There was some debate about whether to let me develop the Holly personality in the first place. Then it was decided I was so good at describing things and that there was so little chance it would work out that it might be worth doing just to eliminate the people who would later say "but you haven't tried it so what would you know".
While I was being taught not to talk about things and how to react and what to say in response so that I could fit in to a work setting, that was also the only persona who was willing to have sex with people. Annimlah would rather kill you, Pema Detsu didn't realize you meant her but if she did there are fates worse than death.
I think it had something to do with all the stuff you have to do to get along, and it was all in the same hopper.
What finally killed Holly was that people had added things into that hopper including sex, and that well, to be Holly certain conditions had to exist and all other things would be ignored. Holly was going to have a decent home, she sleeps at night undisturbed by crime, of course she drives a car and all the stages of social development come one after the other, she gets her license at 16, she has a normal dating life and gets married, has kids, is socially included, does a respectable job at work, isn't passed by for raises and promotions, isn't racially other, and is never asked silly questions about things above her pay grade and if accidentally that happens kinda, it has no bearing one way or the other whether she answers or laughs like why would you ask me upon any of the above mentioned stuff. As long as those conditions are met, she eats what you serve, she presents for vivisection yearly, she buys the same stuff everyone she works with is into and she avoids the things that are "weird".
Every time something outside this reality happens either Annimlah or Pema Detsu gets to come out and do something they want to do, eventually Holly dissolved, but the final nail in her coffin was after Annimlah got her through college and Holly was being Holly the English Teacher, people brought up stuff that had nothing to do with Holly. Neither Annimlah nor Pema Detsu were willing to put themselves in contact with the people Holly would tolerate and they did not like the compensation Holly was getting. When Holly found out they only wanted to talk about Annimlah and Pema Destu, she realized she had no purpose at all, she was only preventing her real self and her prefered persona from handling things without second guessing and that they didn't need an in house recitation of the Dajjals agenda.
Holly died long before the final brain explosion, but Annimlah and Pema Detsu kept her skin around for as long as people wanted to confront her with their existance. It helped to distract them from what they really were doing.
