I've started using a dry erase board to really keep minute track of what I am eating on a daily and weekly basis and it helps me decide no I don't want to eat something or another right now. I also decided to shuffle my eating time around, skipping or eating a very light lunch, eating dinner around 3 and finishing the day with a protein shake at 9pm as well as eating breakfast as late as possible, usually also a protein shake, trying to get a 12 hour fast in there or more depending on my schedule. I also wait until I am seriously low carb, like kinda dizzy before eating any other than the few I plan with every supper and there's a scant amount in milk and stuff like that.
But this morning I did eat my one chocolate covered yeast donut which is around 270 calories after eating a yogurt of 300 calories and 29 g of carbs because I had zombie stare.
Xoxo thinks my zombie/wendigo stare is pretty sexy though and I am skating on that line now all the time.
Ain't Bee also was pointing out that they had a dietitian traveling with them until they got to Bloomington and the dietitian said they'd have dropped them off here whether they decided to stay or not, and that a lot of people want to get information from them on how to keep Mongols healthy and they say they aren't like the ultimate authority they just know one way that works for the orphans they are responsible for, and that we can all do our research on our own like they did and Ain't Bee was thanking me for my notes, which also aren't perfect but they are a start. They said they'd seen a lot of fat Mongols all over the place in their travels and I was actually the healthiest they'd seen, in fact there are a lot of us looking healthy around here even if some of us carry more weight though that is largely or entirely due to Ain't Bee's predecessor and her restaurant chain (even for those of us who don't eat there).
It was also pointed out to me though that though the Losers are put on a 1500 calorie diet and something like a 3500 calorie output a day, they start out morbidly obese and we are all prone to getting just a little overweight and we have to weigh the risk of crashing our diet with the fact that we aren't so fat we could drop dead at any given moment. I still am weaving my targets above and below 1500 daily though.
