On another related topic, Chet has decided that Shaggy wont need a dog and since she has joined our laypeople's tradition which has been undercutting the monastic tradition in terms of speaking engagements (we don't have to beg for money, either having day jobs or being independently wealthy and only ask for transportation costs and food and lodging for the duration of retreats) and since Shaggy has a lot of experience already on this subject and Old Potato left behind a lot of good facilities Chet has a ready made set up to step into though she is a different person who speaks English for herself and works a somewhat different schtick. She also has training responsibilities and some of the 99 bitches will also do work similar to what Shaggy does though I'm not sure how many of them are cloud painters (Shaggy sent me a yak yesterday and we compared horses and dragons for awhile and discussed art technique. My work seems more lifelike while hers seems more cartoon like and we talked about making use of what was already there and letting it trasform on its own and I know that I know less in the front of my mind than she does about directing energy intentionally and I just gradually become salient that my thoughts are generating lifelike horses and dragons in the sky, though not always right where I am looking).
