Testing The Emergency Broadcasting System

There is good reason to work out the differences between Shaggy's style and my style of cloud painting, and basically it comes down to the different levels of animism that we practice. To me everything is alive though I've learned I don't like to talk to furniture unless I need it to forget how to table. When it comes to wind and other things like that though I don't even consider that there is any option other than to talk to it and while there are moments where things like wind will drop its head and become a paint brush for me these moments are as minimal as possible and I consider it a matter of skill to keep working on further minimization.
Shaggy has been entrusted with this kind of understanding before, but has found that she only needs it when she is in a situation that is intolerable and uses this skill instead of learning tolerance. I also practice, possibly over practice tolerance techniques and have a better capacity to remain at a lower level of social acceptance though I also have my limits.
So these days they haven't retrained her in this kind of direct interaction and instead she is aware that she says a specific chanting verse in order to make yaks in the sky that remain a picture of a yak and don't absorb the yak spirit entity as my horses and dragons tend to do. She has pointed out that I also am saying some pretty predictable things when she has made a yak and her incantation has sent me energy because I'm one of the deities that she names in that process and I notice a horse belly and start adding legs to it and when the head comes visible I tell it its just skill form testing and not to take life. Shaggy doesn't have to tell her pictures not to take life.
So Shaggy can keep a picture in the sky for a long time, it might stay stable for five or ten minutes while mine will morph into something and hold within a range of focus for less than a minute or two unless I tell them to stabilize but then they become tulpas with a tulpa life expectancy.
Shaggy's pictures come with commentary from her and remain while the conversation is going on, while mine accept a mission to fulfill such as discombobulating a population in a specific area, and while my dragons will never actually breathe fire or my horses stomp or trample anything, that doesn't mean that nothing will start burning or get crushed if I decide it needs to happen. Again Shaggy only talks to people.
