I just went to the groups project I was assigned to when I got the test and couldn't find anyone with the D definitive loci in that group, and to be honest I do remember getting some kind of message that I matched no one and would match no one and would I like to participate in a similar group but I didn't think they'd match me with europeans, though they've also put in some south and south east asians though to be honest I think all of them are R, as many europeans who they put in U like UFO are also R and don't want to hear that their maternal ancestors were probably arabs.
They don't seem to even have a D group at all.
They do have a list of the defining loci of U2e though and I am absolutely not a match to that group.
They do have D in the China ancestry group I joined I don't know when, and the top two on the list have three and four loci matches with me, while I had to hunt for a one loci match in the U2 group.
Every member of the group has 73 G in common with me so we have that ancestor in common whoever had that mutation so that is a race split defining loci of some sort. So is 315.1 C, 16519 C, and 16189 C is in every member of B so I could be B rather than D or something in between. 16362 C is in most of group D, some of group M and anyway, I'm clearly Asian and not at all European or even South Asian or Middle Eastern.
Sometimes I see what looks like mutation trees that define the different groups however it gets complicated because sometimes genes mutate back, so they split in one configuration then further mutations occur that might reverse up the tree, and these occur at different points which causes divergence though i don't know what factors are being considered to theorize that some people are closer to the split and some further away.
