Dad was sorta suprised at the apearance I discribed for Granddad, as he is the common link to all the light haired asians, though he himself had brown eyes and dark hair and a medium sized mustache, not big and bushy but not thin and wispy either. I couldnt name a nationality for him, his face does not occur in china or japan or anywhere else, I would say he looked most japanese, but he also looked very old chinese. There were no signs in him of tight spots in the gene pool like most people alive today have all over themselves. He had the kind of face that could apear everywhere but actually doesnt occur anywhere.
When the aliens picked him up there were some mysteries in his life that he did not understand. While he gravitated towards his blond children and took many with him, he did not know that they could have a darker colored mother or that they could be full siblings to darker colored children. Some of them had righfully pleased him and he atributed their maternity to a woman he didnt actually know very well, and the one who was responsible for his mental stability was never suspected, but she was the mother of them all. He also didnt look at the darker children, because he didnt expect them to be the same. I dont know the logistics of all of this, I dont think it was malicious but ignorant. (the women at this time kept their movements secret and well raised girls would never give any hints about who they were, sometimes they would be discovered anyway, but usually it was a mistaken identification as the men were raised to value the virtues their mothers prized, so they would fall for the most discreet woman, but then they would be decieved by a more flirtatious one who understood how to lead him to believe things or give him what he wanted to see, Dad understood this as intrinsically problematic and possible of flawed intention from the begining so he introduced the idea of women staying put and men moving around, though within a woman's territory there were still other women but the the man only had to decide which was the princess and which was the maid among a limited set in a defined territory)
So the aliens picked him up and he took what he thought was his needed core, but he quickly got too wonkey and the initial aliens passed him off on others who used his group as slaves (he had a kind of indentured servant relationship with the first group concerning a set of skills he exhibited on earth but couldnt show off the earth and so was unable to complete the term of his contract). Because of how they were acquired, they didnt believe they were very intellegent, but one day Granddad and his group took over the ship and the aliens homeworld for their own. It took them a few hundred years to return, or longer.
I dont know when he realized Dad was his son, it happened eventually and where ever my Dad was running things became a regular stopping ground for Granddad. There were no real hard feelings, Dad was working on taking over the world, and Granddad was fully occupied with his own projects so they just called it life and went on with things.
Before Granddad found Dad he had tried to technologically elevate some people and it all went very badly but Dad was able to meet Granddad's requirements for a limited stream of information to be used sparingly. This didnt take up much of Granddad's time though and he started being interested in cultivating more people who could benifit from what he could teach.
This group became the Vikings, but they never got to the level where they could understand who he really was, and they were too fond of war.
Like with Dad, Granddad told one set of things to people he thought could understand and another set to people who needed false ideas to be better behaved or more manageable, and he was so lonely for other people he could be honest with he set in his systems failsafes to keep out people who could know better. It was not his intention that these people just be killed, but that they be tested, and if they did fail their offspring cultivated as they were a bit closer than the others.
But he wasnt the only one cultivating and conditions allowed success of some over others. So he was required to seek help of other people who could understand him and who wanted similar things.
