Changing Appearances

Dad wanted me to add some things to the story about Mom's grill. They had to change their appearances several times while they were escaping from Tibet, so sometimes they were wealthy and sometimes they were poor and at each place they would sell their old clothes and buy new ones, and each time Mom waited with dread for Dad to ask for her caps back but he never did, and she eventually came to realize he had really bought them for her and not as part of a costume. (though when she wasn't wearing them she had to kiester them)
